Manicures began 5000 years ago. In India, henna was used for a manicure. The term mehndi, used synonymously for henna, derives from the Sanskrit Mehndika. French manicures are manicures designed to resemble a natural nail, and are characterised by natural pink base nails with white tips. The tips of the nail are painted white while the rest of the nail is polished in a pink or a suitable natural shade. Like any style it is chosen for a variety of aesthetic reasons. Many choose it because it is very simple and give nails a natural look. A full consultation by an experienced beauty therapist is necessary to make sure you receive the right treatments.
Men and woman enjoy regular manicures to help keep their hands and nails looking well groomed and attractive. The manicures take between 45 and 60 minutes. This involves shaping the nails, tidying the cuticle area and moisturising the hands and nails. The treatment can be finished with nail polish or a gentle buffing to give a natural shine to the nail.
The LUXURY manicure involves file and shaping the nail, cuticle treatment, hot paraffin was, massage of the hand and arm and nail polish or buff. The perfect treat for oneself or even a gift.
